SilverCare may ask users, staff or caregivers to confirm that they have reviewed relevant terms, privacy notices, disclaimers and module prompts according to the customer organisation's service workflow.
The customer organisation is usually responsible for providing required notices and obtaining consent from service users, family members, guardians, caregivers, staff and other relevant individuals. GOFA may provide platform prompts, consent screens and implementation support.
2. Functions that may need confirmation
Depending on module configuration, users may need to confirm use of health or care records, camera, photos, images, AI analysis, activity records, training records, food or nutrition reference, vital-sign estimation, cognitive screening, notifications, sharing or location-related functions.
3. What confirmation means
By selecting "Agree and continue" or a similar confirmation, the user confirms that they have reviewed the relevant documents, understand the platform purpose and limitations, and agree to use the relevant functions according to customer policies, service procedures and safety guidance.
4. Sensitive function prompts
Where camera, AI analysis, health screening, photos, location, notifications or sharing functions are enabled, the platform may show additional prompts. Users should continue only after understanding the data type, purpose and limitations.
5. Staff and administrator responsibilities
Staff and administrators must follow customer organisation policies for privacy, consent, safety, professional review, exports, content sharing, incident reporting and care escalation.
6. Records and updates
Where consent or acknowledgement is collected, the system may record user ID, role, document version, language, feature name, acceptance time, revocation status, IP or device information. Users may be asked to confirm again after material updates.
SilverCare is not an emergency service. If a user feels unwell or unsafe, they should stop and seek help from staff, caregivers, healthcare professionals or emergency services.
